Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys sind eine Art-Pop-Ambient-Noise-Band mit Sitz in Berlin. Unter der Leitung der in Südafrika geborenen Künstlerin Lucy Kruger kreiert die Band Musik voller Atmosphäre und Intensität.

Im April dieses Jahres veröffentlichten sie "Teen Tapes (for performing your stunts)“ – eine Fortsetzung ihres vorherigen Albums "Transit Tapes (for women who move Furniture around)“ – und das Finale ihrer Tape-Reihe. Die Trilogie, die mit der introvertierten Schlafliedersammlung "Sleeping Tapes for Some Girls“ began, dokumentiert eine wachsende Lust am Spielen. Im Verlauf der drei Platten kommt es zu einem Kontrollverlust, sowohl in der Klanglandschaft als auch in den Geschichten, die durch die Songtexte zum Leben erweckt werden.

Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is an art-pop, tender noise band based in Berlin.

The group, fronted by South African-born artist Lucy Kruger, creates music full of atmosphere and intensity. Their latest album, "Heaving,"- a visceral and vivid collection of songs - was released last April by Unique Records (EU) and Metropolis Records (USA).

Over the last three years, the band has released a trilogy of albums - "Teen Tapes (for performing your stunts)" (2022), "Transit Tapes (for women who move furniture around) (2021)", and "Sleeping Tapes for Some Girls" (2019) which they've toured throughout Germany and Europe, performing at the likes of Rheeperbahn, Fusion Festival, Maifeld Derby, Wave-Gotik Treffen, South of Silence, Immergut, Left of The Dial, and Synästhesie. Lucy Kruger recently contributed vocals to the latest releases by Swans, The Underground Youth, and The Frank Popp Ensemble.

The band was awarded the Europavox Spotlight Prize in June 2023. Lucy was selected to be part of the Keychange initiative, a global network and movement working towards gender equality in the music industry. Keychange is led by Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, PRS Foundation in the UK, and Musikcentrum Öst in Sweden and funded by Creative Europe.
